Mike Drago, Colleyville, has been named the Texas and Southwest editor of the Dallas Morning News. He joined the newspaper staff in 1999 as criminal justice editor and oversaw the paper's education coverage for the past four years. He previously was a reporter and editor for the Associated Press in Dallas.

Ricky Holloman (M.B.A.), Houston, is vice president of PowerWell Services, where he is responsible for business development, marketing and strategy. He was previously finance manager in the energy services group of Halliburton Energy Services.

Sharon Campbell ('96 M.B.A.), Watauga, was promoted to assistant treasurer of Commercial Metals Co. in Irving.

Lori Donnell-Massey, Dallas, was promoted to creative director of Relic and mass markets brands at Fossil. She also is serving as the 2004-05 president of the Richardson/Plano Night Owls Kappa Kappa Gamma alumni association.

Laura Marshall Goodwin, Richardson, and her husband, Jon, are celebrating the birth of their baby girl, Isabel Catherine, who was born in October. Laura is employed at Bland, Garvey, Eads, Medlock and Deppe PC.

Tim Harrison (M.M.), New York, N.Y., had his composition Prelude and Dirge performed by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at its 80th Anniversary Young People's Concert in March 2004 at Lincoln Center.

Holly Hutchins ('94 M.A., '04 Ph.D.), Friendswood, joined the University of Houston as an assistant professor of human resource development in July. Before graduating with her Ph.D., she taught in the College of Business Administration at UNT and as an adjunct professor for Tulane University in New Orleans.

Amanda McCoy, Mountain View, Calif., works at Adobe Systems in San Jose as a user interface designer. She earned a master of fine arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin last spring.

Robert Manning, McKinney, is a chief warrant officer 2 with the U.S. Army Military Intelligence and has served on tours in Bosnia, Japan and Washington, D.C. He was preparing in October to deploy to Iraq. He joined the Army Reserve in 1998 and after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks served two years on active duty at Fort Hood.

Juliette Rizzo (M.J.), Rockville, Md., was crowned Ms. Wheelchair America 2005 last fall in Richmond, Va. She competed against contestants from 24 other states and Washington, D.C., and is spending the year traveling the country as an advocate for Americans with disabilities.

Frank Simmons, Jacksonville, N.C., and his wife, Kelly, welcomed their first child, son Robert Joseph, "RJ," in May 2004. Frank is the commanding officer of Kilo Battery, 3rd Battalion of the 10th Marines, and was scheduled to deploy to Iraq in March.

Nicole Sladovnik, Dallas, has joined Taylor & Mathis as property manager, managing the 273,000-square-foot St. Paul Place in downtown Dallas. She is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and volunteers for Challenge Air and the Alzheimer's Association.

Aaron Solganick, Los Angeles, Calif., has joined KPMG Corporate Finance LLC as a vice president in its Los Angeles office.

Yvette R. Blair, Dallas, has received a congressional appointment to the position of public affairs specialist with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. She will coordinate public
relations efforts for the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES).

Matthew Mailman (D.M.A.), Oklahoma City, has been director of bands and professor of conducting at Oklahoma City University for 10 years. His band music radio show No Strings Attached is broadcast Sundays at noon on Oklahoma radio.

Tiffany Tidwell Silvey, Pearland, and her husband, Matt, celebrated the birth of their second child, daughter Megan Grace, in July. Their 2-year-old son is named Jackson.

Mark Long (M.A.), Waco, was named project manager for publishing at Texas State Technical College. He will oversee the development and production of textbooks to be used throughout the TSTC System and marketed to other colleges and universities.

Brian Tankersley, Woodway, began a new job in September as national outdoor advertising coordinator for Prime Retail Inc., a company that runs Prime Outlets locations around the nation.

Regina Walter (M.M.), Lewisville, appeared as soprano soloist at Carnegie Hall in Beethoven's Mass in C in June.

Dan McDunn, Portland, Ore., reports that he and his wife have semi-retired after working as real estate developers in Philadelphia. "I am excited to be a stay-at-home father for a couple of years as I re-evaluate career options, or possibly not evaluate them and instead further develop my skills in recreational activities," he says.

Angelyn Morris Seppeler and Matt Seppeler ('95 M.M.), Frisco, welcomed son Byron Morris in April 2004. Angelyn has been a band director for three years in Plano and Matt works at Internetwork Experts of Lewisville.

Brian M. Brennan, Denville, N.J., married Hi Gia 'Hailey' Hua ('98) of Garland in April 2004. Brian is a deputy attorney general for the state of New Jersey prosecuting corporate fraud and political corruption. Hi Gia is a claims analyst for St. Paul Travelers Insurance Co.

Denny Euprasert (M.M.), Pathumtani, Thailand, is the dean
of the Conservatory of Music at Rangsit University in Thailand, where he is also the director of jazz studies. He received a doctorate in composition from the University of Northern Colorado, where he was the director of the UNC Jazz Lab Band II and Combo I.

Matthew McGarity, Addison, married Jennifer Daviet of Baton Rouge, La., on Sept. 3. He works as a consultant for Apex IT Inc.,

Ellen L. Kuehner-Frost ('03 M.J.), Grapevine, has been named the national training coordinator for Clubcorp of Dallas, where she has worked since 1997. She married Kenny Frost, national trainer for the Services Group, in June.

Patricia Lozoya ('02 M.Ed.), Bogata, accepted an assignment as an education volunteer in Ukraine for the Peace Corps. She formerly worked for the Fort Worth ISD as a counselor and a Spanish teacher.

Rose May, Albuquerque, N.M., and her husband, Robert, recently celebrated the birth of their second child, a daughter.

Christopher Tucker, DeSoto, music coordinator and announcer for radio station WRR 101.1, was a winner in the third annual national fanfare search conducted by the Dallas Wind Symphony. His "Ceremonial Fanfare (On a Theme of Remembrance)" was one of eight chosen and was performed by Dallas Wind Symphony musicians Jan. 18.
