Gerald Stovall
My game face

Gerald Stovall ('64) of Hattiesburg, Miss., has a winning smile and lots of Mean Green spirit after UNT's victory at the 2002 New Orleans Bowl. As for his game outfit, Gerald says, "My cap is from the first New Orleans Bowl game in 2001. My shirt is an official 2002 Sun Belt Conference Champs T-shirt. The wig is a couple of green and white pompoms, and the noisemakers are from the December '02 bowl game."

At Homecoming 2002, from left, Bill King ('51), Corky Bridgman ('52) and Jack Buttram ('51, '53 M.S.) remember waiting for their girlfriends at Marquis Hall when it was a women's dorm. King's 1927 Model T Ford "Betsy," which he got a few days after the war ended in 1945, also made a return trip to campus. Read more from King in this issue's "Eagle Tale."
