*David Alan Ozowski, Dallas, has joined the architectectural firm of Gresham, Smith and Partners in Dallas. He earned his master of architecture degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in May.

’81
Ruth A. Taylor (Ph.D.), San Marcos, was selected for one of more than 400 Fulbright Senior Specialists projects awarded this year. She conducted conferences this summer in Lima, Peru, training students and business managers in the use of U.S. federal resources to pursue academic and business opportunities originating with the U.S./Peruvian International Trade Agreement. She is a professor of marketing at Texas State University.

Mike Whitehead, Shreveport, La., has been named publisher of SB Magazine, a city magazine serving Shreveport and Bossier City in northwest Louisiana. He was editor of the magazine for five years before becoming its publisher, and before that he held various writing and editing positions for Gannett Corp., the Orange County Register in California and the Dallas Morning News.

*Daryl Stephens (’87 M.Ed.), Johnson City, Tenn., received his Ph.D. in education with a concentration in math education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in December 2005. He is an assistant professor of mathematics at East Tennessee State University and is the 2006-07 president of the Upper East Tennessee Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

Bryan Stewart (M.S., ’92 Ph.D.), Keller, chair of mathematics and science at Tarrant County College’s Southeast Campus, has been appointed to the State Review Panel for High School Mathematics, Advanced Placement Calculus BC. He will review and evaluate textbooks submitted for November adoption by the State Board of Education.

Carrie Collier Adams, Mesquite, was appointed vice president of human resources for Mary Kay Inc. She and her husband, Tony, have two sons, Logan and Jack.

Natalie Reynolds, Charleston, Ill., earned an M.B.A. in health care management from the University of Phoenix (online) in December.
