Len Conner
, Irving, graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in December and passed the bar exam in February. He is a partner in the law firm of Cashman and Conner LLP.

Dave Jones, Pleasanton, Calif., is the president and owner of DMJ Gas Marketing Consultants in Dublin, Calif. The company specializes in natural gas marketing and represents independent producers.

Patty Martinez Jordan, Lewisville, was listed in the book Top Texas Teachers, which profiles 35 Texas teachers who inspire students. She teaches fifth-grade math and science at Bridlewood Elementary School in Flower Mound.

, Dallas, was named executive director of global operations for Young's Presidents' Organization, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating better leaders through education and idea exchange.

Michael Dawes Garrett ('02 M.S.), San Antonio, is the access services and web librarian at Our Lady of the Lake University. His request this March for a copy of the doctoral dissertation of a San Antonio community leader led to the revelation that the man had falsely claimed to have a doctoral degree. Garrett says information really is power.

Dana Young, Yuma, Colo., is the new accounting-marketing education teacher at Yuma High School. She and her husband, Trent, the pastor at the First Baptist Church, have two children, Zach, 9, and Jacque, 6. She says they love Colorado living.

Kiersten Anderson-Hollar, Waco, is teaching as a strings specialist at Mary Hardin Baylor University. She is also a freelance writer and performer and maintains a private studio at the university and at Highland Music Academy in Waco.

Patty Hartleben Granville (M.A.), Garland, has been honored by the city of Garland with a new facility named the Patty Granville Arts Center. Early in her career she was "Miss Patty" in the syndicated children's television program Romper Room. She became director of Garland's performing arts center in 1982. The theater departments at Garland ISD have also announced the Patty Granville Awards, recognizing outstanding work in the theater programs.

E. Sonny Butler (Ph.D.), Statesboro, Ga., an associate professor of information technology at Georgia Southern University, recently received awards for two papers he co-wrote. One was named best paper in its track at the meeting of the southeastern chapter of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, and the other was named outstanding research paper at the Allied Academies international conference.

Kristine Farmer, Dallas, was elected vice president and director of positions and issues for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. She received the Paralegal of the Year Award in 2002 from the Dallas Area Paralegal Association and is the immediate past president of the Legal Assistants Division of the State Bar of Texas. She is a senior trial paralegal for Jenkins and Watkins.

Craig LoSasso, Denver, Colo., has taken a job as a paramedic/engineer with the Boulder Rural Fire Protection District. He previously worked at McKinney Fire Department. Friends can reach him at closasso@earthlink.net.

David Soriano, Haltom City, is a television media specialist in Haltom City. He recently won a Telly Award for his film about the Nancy P. Watkins Animal Care and Adoption Center.

Michael Stoeckert ('96 M.B.A.), Birmingham, Ala., has received press in the Wall Street Journal, Oracle Magazine and Computerworld, among other publications, regarding the use of Oracle software by his company, EPL Inc. He represented CIOs on a panel at OracleWorld 2002 and was invited to participate on another panel for the Alabama Information Technology Association.

Jill Rotella Ysasaga, Kingwood, accepted a position as associate attorney at Manning, Gosda and Arredondo in Houston.

Michael Ysasaga, Kingwood, is associate attorney with Shrader and Williamson PC in Houston.

Nadara ‘Sam' Feldman
, Eureka Springs, Ark., and her husband, Jeff, are the owners of the Bridgeford House Bed and Breakfast, an 1884 Victorian-style home in the historic district of Eureka Springs. Sam says owning the bed and breakfast is the realization of a dream.

Jeff Roe, Dallas, is the owner of an independent record label and manages several bands, including 2003 Grammy-nominated Bowling for Soup.

and Brittainy Wolfe Murphy ('97), Plano, welcomed their first child, Mason, on Feb. 14, 2002. They were married in 1999.

Michelle Ray, Corinth, is working at I-Tel/Tigerbyte as "service goddess," doing public relations, marketing and sales.

, Palestine, has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Fort Worth branch of Ben E. Keith Beers. He joined the company as a student at UNT and moves from his position as general manager in Palestine.

, Cumming, Ga., moved to the Atlanta area to pursue a career in marketing. She is the product marketing manager for Harland Financial Solutions-Analytical Services.

Mary Spencer Michaud (M.Ed.), Denton, has completed the Doulas of North America labor and birth doula training course and has opened Pampered Beginnings Doula Service, a professional labor and birth support service for women.

Megan Johnston, Dallas, is the creative director for BWC Imaging Group in Dallas and was awarded two museum exhibit design jobs for the American Airpower Heritage Museum.
